The drums have always been interesting to me ever since a music class in 5th or 6th grade with Mr. Wolfe. The class was checking out all the instruments and I liked the drums best, but I was too shy to sit down and do some banging. It's something I've always wanted to try, but I'm thinking I'm a bit too old to be in a rock band. But, oh, excuses, excuses.

I'm not really sure how the drums work, I just know that I like the rhythm of music, and that it's the rhythm that holds the music together and gets me involved in it. Time to do some reading up on drums and perhaps look into lessons. I know I could do it if I put my mind to it. It would be interesting to talk to some drummers about learning how to play and what to expect.
